Artist Statement
At five years old, my parents and grandparents kept me supplied with all of the crayons and paper needed to keep me happy, focused and most of all, quiet.
Fast forward seventy years with many commissioned drawings and paintings sold; still the second I put my hands on my tools and my mind to work, that familiar inner world opens and the creative process starts to churn. A feeling of calmness, excitement and eagerness envelopes me.
The end result is either a quick preliminary drawing, a highly rendered pen & ink or scratchboard illustration: then again it could be an elaborate gouache or watercolor painting. My style is instantly recognizable because of its uniqueness. My goal is to share my creations with millions of art lover’s worldwide.
